South Wind-ers!

We know we’re a little behind on the scoop, but are you all ready for our May Installation of South Wind Series?

We’re right on time for the weekend (and only a week ahead of Memorial Day), so hopefully our “Mike Checked It Out” and “Lori Likes” segment does you some good on your free days! Here goes:

Mike Checked Out Roosters Men’s Grooming Center.  So here’s the story: Mike’s wife gave him a gift card for his birthday to this place (he usually does it himself…or not); he took the good gesture and made an appointment. He got the Signature 7-Step Facial Shave and thought is was more relaxing than the typical grooming. He wants fellow guys to know that if they don’t like shaving themselves, they should definitely check out the Center.  Rooster’s is 10 minutes away from South Wind on 1800 Carothers Parkway.

Lori Likes “Which Wich®?” On any given occasion, if you’re looking for a satisfying $5 sandwich/sub, Which Wich?® is a go-to. It just has a different taste than Subway and other sandwich shops. They first started out in college towns (getting the approval of hungry students), before coming to places like Brentwood (Franklin, TN). There’s over 50 Sandwiches to choose from (Sandwich Permutation–we say try the Hula) and really unique ordering system–including brown paper bags and Red Sharpies!
